What we bid — Division 09 painting & wallcovering
Our scope is painting and wallcovering, bid as a complete package from your plans and specifications:
Painting — new construction & build-outs
Primer and finish systems per your spec sections on new drywall, block, stucco, and metal — interiors and exteriors, ground-up builds and tenant build-outs. Submittals when required, and our schedule coordinated with your superintendent and the trades around us.
Painting — repaints & occupied spaces
Exterior repaints and interior refreshes in buildings that stay open: nights, weekends, and phased zones, with containment and daily cleanup. Brand color conversions and landlord turnovers included.
Wallcovering installation
Commercial wallcovering installed as part of the painting package — vinyl wallcovering for restaurants, medical, and retail interiors, furnished per the plans and specs.
Product note: when the spec leaves the choice to us, our standard is Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint, with Duration and Emerald quoted where a longer-life system is worth the upgrade. When your spec names the system, we paint to the spec.

How do I invite Paint for the Cause to bid a painting package?
Send the invitation through BuildingConnected, PlanHub, Procore, or ConstructConnect — we're active on all four — or email the plans and specs straight to paintforthecausellc.fl@gmail.com. Prefer to talk first? Call (614) 937-1081 and you'll get the owner, not a sales desk.
What insurance do you carry? Can you provide a certificate of insurance?
We're licensed and insured, and a certificate of insurance is available on request — with additional-insured endorsements when your contract requires them. Straight answers on the rest: as an owner-operated Florida company we're workers' comp exempt, and we don't carry bonding. We'd rather tell you both upfront than have your compliance review find them later.
What areas do you cover for GC work?
We're based in Hudson and bid GC work across Pasco, Hernando, and Citrus counties and the wider Tampa Bay area, including Hillsborough County. Most of our subcontract work sits within about an hour of Hudson; for the right project we'll talk about going further.
How fast do you turn a bid around?
We do our own takeoffs from your plans and specs, and most painting packages are priced and returned the same week the plans land — ahead of your bid deadline. If your deadline is tighter than that, call us and we'll tell you straight whether we can make it.
Do you install wallcovering?
Yes — wallcovering installation is part of our Division 09 scope, including commercial vinyl wallcovering in restaurants, medical offices, and retail build-outs. Wallcovering materials are furnished per the plans and specs.
