Exterior Painter in Holiday, FL

A lasting exterior paint job in Holiday starts long before the first can opens. Paint for the Cause LLC is owner-operated and based in Hudson, 15 minutes from our Hudson shop — meticulous prep, premium coatings, and an exact price in writing before we start.

Across Holiday — ZIP codes 34690 and 34691 — we paint the neighborhoods homeowners actually live in: Aloha Gardens, Holiday Lake Estates, Buena Vista, Bonita Village, and Key Vista. The housing stock here is 1960s–1980s ranch homes and waterfront properties along the Anclote River and its bayous, and every exterior gets the same system: pressure wash with mildewcide, scrape and sand to sound paint, caulk and repair, prime every bare spot, then finish with Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint to full, even coverage — or elastomeric on crack-prone stucco.

From first wash to final walkthrough, the standard doesn't change. Free estimates — we're about 15 minutes from our Hudson shop.

Type 'painter near me' into Google in Holiday and you'll get a long list. We'd rather earn the call: free estimates at your home, careful prep, clean lines, and a price in writing — that's how local painters in Holiday should do business.

Finding a budget painter near me shouldn't mean gambling on the finish. Our written price covers the full sequence — prep, prime, and premium paint — so the number we quote is the number you pay.

What separates the best painting company near me from the rest isn't the logo — it's showing up, prepping properly, and putting the price and warranty in writing. That's our whole model.

Wash & treat. Full pressure wash with mildewcide — salt air, chalk, and mildew removed for real adhesion.
Scrape & sand. Failing paint scraped to a sound edge; chalky and glossy areas sanded and sealed.
Caulk & repair. Gaps sealed at trim, windows, and penetrations; minor stucco and wood repairs handled first.
Prime bare spots. Masonry or wood primer on every bare area — the step skipped by every cheap bid.
Finish to full coverage. Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint, sprayed and back-rolled to a full, even finish — or elastomeric on stucco that cracks.
Walkthrough. We walk the whole house with you. Anything you spot gets fixed before we pack up.

Exterior painting cost in Holiday

Typical range: $3,000–$8,000 for a Holiday home. Local housing stock — 1960s–1980s ranch homes and waterfront properties along the Anclote River and its bayous — means prep needs vary street by street: newer stucco in good shape lands lower; older homes with chalk, cracks, and wood repair land higher. These are planning estimates — your free on-site estimate is the exact number, in writing.

You'll see lower bids in this market. Ask what primer they use, how they build the finish, and who supervises the crew — the answers explain the price gap.

Frequently asked questions

Does the coastal air in Holiday change how you paint exteriors?

Yes — Holiday sits close enough to the Gulf that humidity, mildew, and salt-laden air are part of every job. We wash with mildewcide, seal chalky surfaces, and use coatings spec'd for Florida's coast, so the finish holds up instead of peeling in a couple of summers.

Do you paint lanais, pool cages, and pool decks?

Yes — lanai frames, pool cages, and pool decks can be included with a house project so everything matches. Seawalls and submerged surfaces need marine-specific coatings — we'll point you to the right specialist rather than guess.

Do I need HOA approval for my new color?

Many Tampa Bay HOAs — especially in master-planned communities — require color approval before painting. We can provide color names and samples for your application and schedule around your approval letter.

Is your work warrantied?

Yes. Our workmanship is backed by a 2-year warranty — if our prep or application fails, we make it right. The paint products themselves carry manufacturer warranties as well.

How long does an exterior repaint take?

Most single-family homes take several days from wash day to final walkthrough, depending on size, repairs, and weather. You'll get a schedule with your written estimate.

How do I choose the best painter in Holiday?

Choose the painter who measures in person, itemizes the price, and stands behind the work. Homeowners who search for painters near me in Holiday call us for exactly that: careful prep, clean lines, and a written price with no surprises.

Looking for an affordable painter near you who still does the prep right?

That's the gap we fill. Affordable here means a fair, exact price in writing — never a skipped wash, prime, or finish coat — with premium coatings and a 2-year workmanship warranty. The low bid usually leaves the prep out; ours puts it in writing.

Low lots, old block, and builder paint at the end of its life

Holiday's older subdivisions sit low, and the streets step down toward the Anclote River and its bayous as you head west. Ground here stays damp longer than it does inland, and summer downpours splash soil and mulch up the walls — which is why so many Holiday ranches wear a dark band of dirt and mildew along the bottom foot of block. That splash zone has to be scrubbed, treated, and sealed, not painted over, and if water is pooling against the house we'll say so plainly: no coating outruns standing water, and the grading or drainage issue is worth fixing alongside the paint.

At the other end of town, Key Vista's 2000s stucco is wearing its original builder-grade coating — and builder paint was never meant to last this long. Applied thin at the pace of a building boom, it's now chalking across whole streets at once. Fresh paint laid over chalk lets go early, because it's bonded to powder instead of wall. Those houses get washed, the chalk sealed with a masonry conditioner, and then the finish system. The older neighborhoods, meanwhile, mostly answer to no HOA at all: color is entirely the owner's call, including deep colors on west-facing stucco, which deserve an honest conversation about fade before the first gallon is tinted.
